History & tradition

A place. A tradition.
A commitment to service.

The Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp curriculum is rooted in a community with more than 130 years of Spiritualist history.

Why Cassadaga

More than 130 years of Spiritualist tradition.

Cassadaga, Florida, has been home to Spiritualist mediums and healers since the 1890s. The Camp is the oldest continuously active Spiritualist community in the Southeastern United States.

Its mediums and healers complete a certification process of at least four years before they serve the public. Every course here is taught by a Camp Permitted Teacher and built on the Camp's own Educational Curriculum.

Official Camp students earn curriculum credit. Your certificate of completion records the course and its curriculum hours. Give it to your Certifying Evaluator for your six-month report, the same way you would a class taken at the Camp.

Explore the Camp’s history and Spiritualist principles and teacher directory on its official website.
